Star Gazer cruise

Does anyone know if another vessel has taken over for the Western Union? I know that the WU offered SG cruises but is not defunct....We wanted to do this last visit but didn%26#39;t get to it and I%26#39;m hoping another boat is doing this now?

Also - Any advice on the most family friendly sunset cruise? I%26#39;d prefer one of the masted schooners but also want it to be safe and family friendly - not a raucous booze cruise! I%26#39;ll be bringing my 5 year old daughter.

The Liberty Schooner was running a star gazer cruise when I visited in November. The same guy who did the WU is now doing the Liberty commentary.

We did the Liberty Schooner sunset dinner cruise on New Years Eve this year and were very disappointed after having done the Western Union cruise twice previously. Very little seating and minimal interaction from the staff - surprised to hear that the same person is doing the commentary as did on the WU. Alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages included - defn. not a booze cruise though.

Look at the Floridays for a family friendly sunset cruise. It is a little more expensive but in the past, once you clear the Bight, you could ask the captain if the youngster could man the helm. (Woman the helm?) Kids love this. If you go, there are two small seats set into the stern-rail which give you the best view of the several hotels and the Mallory Docks as you sail out.

To be honest, I%26#39;ve never been on a sunset sail where ther people got too raucus. They are a little too conservative to wave at the people at the Hyatt, Pier House, Docks on the way out, but after having had a few drinks and such a good time, they wave and cavort on the way in.
