Central Gulf Coast question

We have never been to the Florida Gulf Coast for a vacation, so I%26#39;d like to get recommendations from those who know it well. We don%26#39;t have a full week of vacation in March, but I was able to find a few properties that would do nightly rentals. In your opinion which of these choices which would be best for 2 adults and a 7 year old.

Addy%26#39;s Nokomis Villas (Description says that the beach is across the street)

A cottage on Siesta Key not beachfront but on the water, or

Pigeon Toed Pelican Inn (I think it%26#39;s on Palm Island, but I haven%26#39;t gotten an exact location yet)

I have leads on a few other rentals, but I want to get my reservations done since the properties book so quickly.

I appreciate your advice!

Central Gulf Coast question

We stayed on Siesta Key several years ago - sorry cannot

remember the name of where we stayed - it was beachfront

but most do not face the ocean althought nice paths in the sand.

Sunset over the water is great. Had two great pools. The

sand at Siesta Key is beautiful, white but never hot even in the summer. We, however, went in the fall, as we always stay at

Madeira Beach (Pinellas County between Clearwater and St. Pete)

Water also is beautiful. Not a busy time in the fall, don%26#39;t know about March. Glad we went but we actually prefer Sanibel Island. So green, no chain stores, and the shelling is fantastic. We stayed

at The Holiday Inn the first time, but the second time we went

to The West Inn and I would go there again in a heartbeat. Lots

of people from UK and Europe. Facilities are wonderful, you

can have lunch or a drink by the pool but the ocean is simply

wonderful and driving down the roads all you see is trees and

green, green, green. Food is wonderful. Try Island Cow for

breakfast, lunch AND dinner, Lighthouse Cafe for breakfast. We

also went there in the fall so cannot say about March. Have been

to Madeira Beach in April/May and Sept/Oct/Nov. Sorry can%26#39;t help

more.
