Which is best?

We have a choice between Lido Beach Resort and Tropical Shores-Tropical Sun Resort. Both look good online and are charging more or less the same rates in May.

Just wondered if anyone could advise and steer us in the right direction.

We like very clean, well maintained properties, not luxury but not downbeat either.

Also what type of rooms are best situated etc in Lido %26amp; Tropical?

Any tips/advice would be much appreciated, thanks.

Which is best?

The Lido Beach Resort is a full service resort on Lido Key. It is a very nice resort that gets great reviews here on TA.

You are not far from St. Armand%26#39;s Circle which has upscale dining and shops.

Tropical Shores is a small motel on Crescent Beach on Siesta Key.

The rooms and the location are great. It is a short walk to the beach (no road to cross) and has nice plantings. You can read a review on the Siesta Key TA page under Hotels.

The Lido Beach Resort is more upscale.
