vacation rental

I have resevations at the Sea Oats Condominiums at Redington Shores. I would appreciate any thing you could tell me about this resort. I am especially interested if anyone has stayed in unit 304.

I%26#39;ve stayed at the Sea Oats many times over the past 20 years. The units are individually owned, so no two are alike. They are spacious and all have balconies overlooking the beach and the Gulf. It%26#39;s right next to a long fishing pier that%26#39;s open 24 hours. You can fish from it or just walk out on it for a small fee. It%26#39;s nice for late night just before turning in.

Be sure to visit the Suncoast Seabird Sanctuary just North of Sea Oats. In fact, I sometimes walk North along the beach in the mornings and end up there (approx. 20 minute walk). I think it opens at 9AM, but you can still see many of the pelicans and other birds in the sanctuary. There are always a lot of pelicans gathered on the beach there because they were rehabilitated or born there, and they know where to get a free meal!

Eat at Crabby Bills in Indian Rocks and visit John%26#39;s Pass in Madeira Beach. It has lots of restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Great people-watching, also! You can arrange fishing charters and other types of boat outings there.

There is a tall beachfront hotel on Gulf Blvd. just after you cross the John%26#39;s Pass drawbridge (heading South). It used to be a Holiday Inn, but not sure if it still is. Either way, they have a restaurant/lounge on the top floor with a view that%26#39;s not to be missed. Treasure Island has an incredibly wide beach, and view from this restaurant is beautiful.

We also have reservations in unit 304 for this summer (6/07) and

have never stayed there before. If you go before us we would like to know your opinion. Thanks.
