What is the best month to go? I want it warm enough to swim but not so hot and humid I am miserable. Thanks.

Swim in the ocean? Well, until the last few days, the temps have been hitting the low 80Fs. But now in the 70s during the day. (The 80s was a bit warmer than it should be).

The ocean temp was 77F on Wednesday. THe beach (in Hollywood was loaded (in the commercial boardwalk sections) with sun bathers and swimmers....even yesyerday....(Friday). Did not get to the beach today. (It was too busy, and there was some kind of thing going on.)

SE Fl (up to about Vero Beach) get hit with the Gulfstream Current....a very warm ocean current that also helps keep the British Isles warm (somewhat).

So, sometimes the ocean temp is warm enought to swim in, but the air temps might not be so inviting. The afternoon sun, however, usually does warm up the beaches.....and many will go in.

The temps in Feb are usually in the 60s %26amp; 70s....but can go down to the 50s or even 40s esp at night.

Check here: (See that big lake near the tip of Fl. MAny consider that the point near where the areas S could be considered the sub tropics....ie....rarely freezing temps.
