i saw that the continental south beach hotel is really cheap during the time im staying but should i be worried.. is it too good to be true.. cuz i know u get what u pay for...

I saw this deal as well...great location it seems. And its on the beach side of Collins Ave. Have you heard any more about this hotel? There must be a catch, because it seems too cheap...but maybe its a bare minimum facility...

From what I understand whatever was happening re: the condo renovation never happened and so they%26#39;ve open up shop again. I hear it is really horrible though. Check out the reviews.
Just returned from this hotel. It%26#39;%26#39;s close to the ';action'; of south beach
and you pretty much get what u pay for. The hotel is a 2 star at best, the rooms are o.k., no cable tv, no radio, they forgot our wake-up call, the first night we had only one washcloth, after 4pm you have to go down to the front desk to get another. Day two the maid cleaned the room, but only gave us one towel, once again we had to go to the front desk to retrieve one. Never figured out the thermostat, front desk was no help.
If you are looking for a place to lay your head and your belongings this place will do, I didn%26#39;t plan on being in the room much anyway, so it served its purpose for me.
p.s. the hotel does have beach access, and a pool, but the pool turned me off for some reason, so I never tried it out.
