Super Bowl

We will be arriving Thurs, Feb 1 and staying at the Hilton Miami Airport. We need to know if we should rent a car or if public transportation will get us to other areas of Miami in order to enjoy the whole experience. We have a shuttle to the game on Sunday but we would like to go to Hollywood, Fla to see the ESPN broadcast and perhaps go to Southbeach for dinner. Please sent suggestions as we will need to make arrangements.

Rent a car - rent it now - they are selling out.

You can not rely upon public transport at all AT ALL for the area you want to explore...

You will need to rent a car... I got mine a month ago, but I heard some people were having some erious issues. One friend of mine had to hire a car to take him to Ft Lauderdae to get a car because the airort said they were ';over booked';, however a co-worer just told me she had no problems at all.. So who knows.
