We are visiting the Marathon area for the first time and I am considering renting a home for a vacation in Grassy Key and I was wondering how that area is? How far would it be to restaurants and shopping?
Grassy Key
Grassy Key is nice. It%26#39;s not far to the shops in Marathon and there are some restaurants on Grassy Key. I can%26#39;t really reccomend any of the ones we tried there, but we did have a great afternoon at Sparky%26#39;s in Key Colony. Key Colony Bch is close to Grassy Key. I would stay there.

Definately check out the White Sands Inn

They have a really cool house that is available for rental. The Grassy Key/Marathon area is a great place to stay.
