Indian or Chinese

I%26#39;ve only been to MIng Court on I Drive once but I liked it and it gets generally good reviews here:

It%26#39;s a bit more upscale ( and pricey )than the typical Chinese place.

Afraid cannot recommend either in Orlando. Does not seem to many Indian restaurants anyway.

The only chinese I have been to was below average and it was called something like New York Chinese Buffet. would avoid this one.

There was a pretty good Indian in the Crossroads area of shops a few years back but unsure whether it is still there. Can%26#39;t remember the name sorry.

Has Indian food made it to the USA yet and do the Amercians amongst you like Indian Food?

We%26#39;ve never had a good Indian or Chinese in Orlando area. The last couple of Chinese buffets made some of our party ill and the Indian food just wan%26#39;t up to standards.

I%26#39;d avoid both like the plague.

There%26#39;s a great little Chinese restaurant on Central Florida Parkway called Pearls. Central Florida Parkway is right off of Idrive in the Publix Shopping Center. CFP is also the road Sea World in on, but in the opposite direction. I used to live on Idrive, so I have eaten @ Pearls many many times. They also deliver to area hotels and they are NOT expensive. Yummy!!

Wonder why Indians and Chinese havnt taken off in the US like they have in the rest of the universe, looks like i will have to stick with steak on my trip to Orlando next month - just fancied some ';british'; :) he he, food while im there!Ive seen an advert for an Indian on 192 but not read anything about it, if any1 has let me know.

No idea about Indian, but try Pearls Chinese. Where are you staying?

There%26#39;s a great Chinese on I- Drive right across from wet n wild. I can%26#39;t remember the name but its on Visitors Circle behind a Walgreen%26#39;s, which is the left turn before Universal blvd, if wet n wild is on you%26#39;re right. Sorry to be so vague but it is definitely worth checking out. As for Indian we have never found any good ones in 17 years.

Danny Dodger - You%26#39;ll have to be like us and have something to look forward to when coming home. We%26#39;re always gagging for some good British (Indian) food!
