Discovery Cove dolphin swimming age limit

Hello again and thanks ever so much for all your replies.

We have rescheduled outside April and actually going now in February.

My question now is about DC and dolphin swimming. My younger daughter is not quite the required age of 6, how strict are they with the ages for dolphin swim and how do you actually have to prove the age of your child.

Also anyone has experience from around this time of the year and how cold the water is there?

Many thanks

K.

If she is within a few weeks of her birthday, they may let it slip. If she won%26#39;t be turning 6 for a few months, they probably won%26#39;t allow her to do the dolphin swim. Obviously, if she%26#39;s not going to be six, you don%26#39;t want to have the ';proof'; that she isn%26#39;t there yet, so don%26#39;t bring any documentation.

They require wet suits for the water due to the coldness of it, and the water is bound to be pretty chilly, even in the summer months (the animals require colder water). February%26#39;s cooler temps will make it that much colder.

Hello Klara,

They didn%26#39;t require proof of age when we took our almost 6 year old shy by two months. There was one little girl who looked so tiny in our group and she wasn%26#39;t questioned either, I%26#39;m sure you%26#39;ll be fine.
