Has anybody stayed here recently? We are booked here for early April...how is it? How is the weather that time of year? I%26#39;m hoping the gulf is warm for swimming? Any great restaurants to recommend? Thanks for any info!

We will have a car and plan on going to Bern%26#39;s Steakhouse in Tampa for one night. Thanks for your input. If you have any good ideas for things to do let me know, we have two teens with us as well. Maybe the Dali museum for a day trip.

No need to go to Tampa or the Dali museum. You will have plenty to do and great places to eat right here!

Berns has good steaks, but, it is a place I went on a business expense. Ruth%26#39;s Chris is just as good.

The Beach Bistro on Ana Maira Island is award winning as is the Bijou Cafe in downtown Sarasota.

There are many others on Longboat Key.
