looking for a place to stay would like some input.

I will be in key west in mid may with a bachelor party we are all in our 30%26#39;s and looking for a nice place to stay.we would like a nice pool and maybe a good bar on or near Duval st. we are looking at Hyatt on front St or crowne plaza la concha on Duval. would like opinions and if you have any other suggestions I would love to here them. Thanks.

Check out the Pier House on Duval, has pool, Beach, Bars its on Duval and the Ocean.

Yes, look at the pages for the Pier House and the Ocean Key. One is at 1 Duval Street and the other is at 0 Duval. The Pier House has a small beach and a good beach-side bar. How man of you are there and will you double, triple up?

I%26#39;d stick to the Pier House, the Hyatt on Front or the Ocean Key. All are basically in the same location next to each other. The Pier House has the best beach by far, the Ocean Key has no beach, and the Hyatt%26#39;s beach is about 10 x 12. Bars are fine at all three, but better at the Ocean Key and Pier House. Rooms at the Ocean Key - especially the Junior Suites are wonderful.

In my opinion, the La Concha is not in the same league with these others.

Wife and I stayed at Southermost on the Beach at the south end. Two blocks from the bottom end of Duval. If you are looking for a nice room, nice pool and a great staff (all at a decent rate), this is the place. The only downfall we found was that it was not within walking (or crawling some nights) of those bars we found fun (Hogs Breath, Smallest Bar in Key West, etc). All of those were at the North end and required a taxi. Headed back March 3rd but looking to stay near Mallory Square this time. Have fun.

we have about 8-12 people going the number keeps going up. we are planing on doing 2%26amp;3 person rooms. so la concha is out of the running and we have now put peir house in the game thanks all.
