Siesta key and ?...

My husband and I are planning on going to Siesta Key and staying @ the Beach Place. Is it on Crescent Beach? I am looking to stay on the best beach within biking distance of the shops and restaurants. Is this the right place? Also, we would like to split our 8 day vacation between 2 places. We are thinking of flying in Tampa and staying in St Pete Beach, then continuing on to Siesta Key and flying out of Sarasota. Any other ideas?

The Siesta Key Beach Place is by Siesta Beach. It is also a 10 minute walk to Siesta Village. You can read the reviews here on TA.

(Is it a weekly rental minimum? not sure)

There are bars/restaurnats in Siesta Village so you might like that location.

I prefer Crescent Beach, but they%26#39;re both nice.

If you%26#39;re doing a St. Pete stay, I would stay there first.

You would be disappointed after you left Siesta Key/Sarasota.

Siesta key and ?...

SRQ girl is right........if you are going to St. Pete%26#39;s go first or you will be disappointed. It is a wonderful beach but once you go to Siesta Key you won%26#39;t want to go any place else. I was a lover of St. Pete%26#39;s beach and stayed there many times then last year wanted to go someplace different so tried Siesta Key. All you hear posted about how wonderful it is is true........I didn%26#39;t believe it until my toes hit the sand. I was sold on it! In fact so sold on it that I am going this year and taking my daughter and her family too. She also has been to St. Pete%26#39;s with me and can%26#39;t believe that Siesta Key could be better. I%26#39;ve told her once your toes touch the sand and you look around you you too will understand why I rave about it.

Ok thanks. The Beach Place looks great. Is there a better place to stay In Crescent Beach. Ideally, we would like to rent something ON the beach, as opposed to down the street. Any ideas. We are also looking for something small like a cottage. Is Crescent Beach within biking distsnce to the shops and restaurants? It seems the more research I do, the more confused I get. Thank you thank you thank you!!!
