Does anyone know anything about Frangista beach? How far is it from Crysat Beach? Is it nice? upscale? lower-end? many restraunts? How near to Destin Commons is it? We have friends staying in Destiny by the Sea, is Frangista Beach close to that? How does Frangista compare to Destiny by the sea?

Honestly, there are good and not so good areas of Frangista Beach. it is in no way walking distance from Destiny-by-the-Sea. I would not consider it low end by any means, however, it does not compare to Destiny-by-the- Sea.
You will need a car. It is about 5 miles from there.
It is not really close to Destin Commons, but this is a small town. Traffic can be a challenge at times.
The better restaurants are scatted through out the area. There is no area the is concentrated with good or bad restaurants, but I will comment the restaurant right beside Destiny-by-the-Sea leaves a LOT to be desired. (There will be no local license plates in that lot..if you know what I mean)
Destiny-by-the-Sea is in Crystal Beach, the eastern area. I would prefer there instead of Frangista. However, again, there are many parts of Frangists that are quite nice!!
