Will be staying at ft myers beach the end of Fe. for a week. Since Im from the North Im not sure what to expect . Except I know it will be warmer than here. Should I plan on jeans %26amp; sweatshirts or shorts %26amp; bathing suit. Also is the gulf water warm enough to swim in?

the water is cool to me but folks are in it! Yes swimsuit daytime and may need a sweatshirt at night.

it is summer here just about all the time. a few weeks of cool weather scattered here and there, but mostly just beautiful summer. I love it here!
Love FMB in Feb. water a little cool, but it is better than Boston!!
