Crowds in Disney

Just wanted to ask the your opinions on crowds in the Disney parks. We will be in Disney this year from the 18th August for 9 nights and I%26#39;m just wondering how busy the parks will be. We went a couple of years ago on June 4th for 9 nights and found the crowds quite manageable, Will August be massively more crowded? Also we are staying on-site for the first time in the Port Orleans French Quarter, will the food court, pool etc be mental busy at that time?

August will be somewhat less crowded than June, especially the later in the month you get. Many schools will be going back in the U.S. on August 20th or so, some even before that. However, the parks won%26#39;t be empty, so you%26#39;ll still have some lines to wait in.

P.O. French Quarter is a smaller resort with just a little over 1000 rooms, so it all depends on the occupancy rate as for crowds there. Certain times of day (especially mornings) may be crowded in the food court, but later shouldn%26#39;t be too bad. The pool will be more crowded in afternoon, evening times. However, the pool there is a great one and the sea serpent slide is amazing.
