HELP -Can you smoke!!!

We are booked into the Fairfield Inn @Marriott Village. I have just read that it is non-smoking. Does it mean EVERYWHERE or certain places.

Hubby wont be happy.

HELP -Can you smoke!!!

I feel your pain. All the Marriott brands are non smoking since this fall. Only place to smoke is outside. I cant answer if you can smoke by the pool etc. I think you have to get an answer from a former guest or the hotel.

HELP -Can you smoke!!!

For this reason alone we always try to book a hotel with exterior corridor...that way we can get a non smoking room and have the ability to smoke outside our room. Try contacting the reservation department of this hotel to see if they have exterior corridors...from the photo%26#39;s it does not look like the case by chances are they will have designated smoking areas around the hotel. Good luck!

Good luck to you asking this question - I asked this on my second post when I first joined the forum and got absolutley slaughtered and hence did not return to the forum for a good 2 months........................ :-)

as far as other places....pretty much no smoking in any building, restaurant, shop, mall, bar in the state of FL

some bars do allow smoking but most don%26#39;t...only ones that don%26#39;t do a certain percentage of their biz from food are exempt...there are very few that you are allowed to smoke in

Filthy filthy habit - ban it everywhere.

I agree with you Vegas.

Hubby has the habit, he will smoke less %26amp; we are happy with that HA HA.

Petunia - FYI in the parks they have designated smoking areas also so your hubby won%26#39;t be able to light up as and when he wants even outside in the parks.

He might not like it but it%26#39;s a bloody good idea - It completely stops people giving passive smoke to the children at the parks

I can confirm that tthis hotel, like all Marriotts bans smoking inside. But there are ashtrays outside, so you can go there to have a smoke. Also: I was in MCO recently and took a trip to the Tampa Hard Rock Hotel. Guests were smoking there in the Casino. In Downtown Disney and Universal Citywalk, I think smoking is allowed in all outdoor places in contrast to the designated smoking areas inside the park.

I%26#39;m assuming all Orlando restaurants are non smoking too?

Ban Smoking

Ban Tipping

:)
