Should I skip Animal Kingdom w/ a 2 year old?

I have been given mixed opinions on Animal Kingdom as to whether or not it would be worth taking my 2 year old. We will definitely be visiting MK but was wondering if she might enjoy another disney park like AK. I am considering Sea World as well. Any advice? We will be there 4 full days.

A friend of mine just returned from Orlando, went with her 2 %26amp; 4 yr. old. Their favorites were Seaworld %26amp; Ak. I think AK is great for tikes, because it%26#39;s sort of like going to the zoo in parts. They get to see the neat animals, Pocohontas show, dino boneyard if they want. it%26#39;s not so ride oriented, %26amp; less lines in that regard too.

Your 2 year old will not be able to ride Dinosaur, Primeval Whirl, Kali River Rapids or Expedition Everest. But theres will be many things to do - especially if she likes shows. ';Festival of the Lion King'; and ';Finding Nemo, the Musical'; are both great. There are some great character interaction spots too.

You can probably sleep in that day and get there mid-morning. Then plan to stay until park close (around 5 PM). After the parade (around 3 PM), you pretty much can have all the characters to yourself.

Sea world would be really good to, it s a lovely park

A two year old will love AK.

DO NOT MISS the Festival of the Lion King, they will be amazed, skip it%26#39;s a bugs life.

The train upto Rafekis(sp) area and petting zoo was great for the younger set.

I have a 2 year old and we always have a wonderful time at AK. As others have mentioned, the Festival of the Lion King is a great show. We also really enjoyed the new Finding Nemo Musical on our last trip in December. Also, if your child likes the Dumbo ride at MK, you will be happy to see Triceratop Spins (or ';Dinosaur Dumbo'; as my daughter calls it). The safari and the Pocohontos are also great for a 2 yo. There is also a train that takes you to ';Rafiki%26#39;s Planet Watch'; where there is a very clean petting zoo. We have also found that AK is just a nice park to walk around and enjoy. You might want to skip It%26#39;s Tough to Be a Bug. It is probably the most intense 3D show at all of the parks in terms of effects.

If your child is into any of the Playhouse Disney shows (JoJo%26#39;s Circus, Little Einsteins), you might want to check out MGM. However, there isn%26#39;t a full days worth of stuff to do there with a toddler.

Your 2 year old will like SeaWorld and the AK both-I%26#39;d skip MGM and Epcot at that age. The AK has a surprising appeal for little ones-lots of good shows,some ';thrill'; rides for their age and lots of interesting people for them to talk to.Sea World is great,also lots of opportunities for interaction,including feeding very overpriced fish to seals .
