Plaza Beach Hotel

I notice this one comes up Number One Rated, even though it hardly looks ';posh';; since it%26#39;s roughly $100/night cheaper than the closest competitor (Trade Winds), seems worth considering...

Looks like one of those really cute Old Florida places with a lot of charm... But maybe with some unpleasant surprises that don%26#39;t show in the pictures, too. Any feedback beyond reviews posted?

I%26#39;ve stayed at Plaza beach for 3 years now and am going back again this year. It doesn%26#39;t look like much on the outside and it%26#39;s not fancy but is very clean and comfortable and right on the beach.

I forgot to say that everyone I talked to there are repeat visitors. I think that speaks for itself.

belle, i have to agree with you on the plaza beach. it%26#39;s the best place on the beach to stay. no where can you get a room on the beach for this price. it%26#39;s clean, comfortable and the people are great.

otter did a thread on the plaza last october, but i guess she%26#39;s just bored and looking for someone to talk to.

she also did a thread on siesta key, where she never showed, because she%26#39;s afraid to fly. LMAO!
